Monday night, I attended Minted Media Productions Fashion Showcase at the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Chicago. What a phenomenal space to have a fashion event!

I met some of the most fashionable people that I have seen at any event thus far. The shoes choices made last night were great to look at. I’m all about the shoes!!!

I had the pleasure to speak exclusively with Wendy Callupe, founder of Minted Media Productions. We chatted about what we can do to elevate Chicago fashion while she was busy setting up for the show.

Full disclosure – your girl effed up. I didn’t hit record on our session but I can report that Wendy feels strongly about inclusivity in the fashion world & they know how to throw a great party. I know we will see many more events from Minted Media Productions!

I was able to meet amazing vendors throughout the outdoor space. Thankfully the Chicago weather was perfect so guests could enjoy the view outside while shopping. Some of the vendors included On Set with Jaslene, Michele Lopriore, Crystal jewlery by Bear Clan Creationz, Upcycled denim by Live2Love, Clothing and SHOES by HerandZiba and many more!

Urbanity Dance Chicago opened the showcase and their dance routine had the crowd moving. Great creative pieces came down the runway. My favorite pieces from the show were the denim pocket jeans and the tie skirt from designer Urban Sewing Society and VIP gift bags were placed on chairs at intermission.

Big shout out to my gang who showed up and showed out. Photographer Alina Gofman who took all these amazing photos. Fashion model Niketa who slayed her look (styled by yours truly) and Fashion model Zoe Airriona who looked exceptionally Zen and boujiee (we still need our picture taken), and King Jewels for my amazing jewelry.

Overall, a great night filled with amazing fashion and I was able to meet lots of great people.
