Last night I attended the grand opening for Borris Powell retail location at 216 S. Jefferson in Chicago. It is located on a great street with plenty of parking 👏and it is in amazing retail space with big store front windows that proudly display mannequins dripped in Borris Powell. I fell in love with Borris Powell all over again as soon as I stepped foot into his space.

I was able to chat for a few hours about patterns, garments, sequins and he shared details of his up coming projects. He will be headed to Omaha on 8.21 to show a small teaser collection on 8.22 and headlining their finale show on 8.24. Then a shopping event on 8.25. I had to try on his leather trench from the Borris Powell Trapped Collection which was shown at the Drake hotel in Chicago. This coat is SICK AF!! It’s custom embossed hornback. Genuine leather. I think I dreamed about it last night. It is on MUST OWN list ❤
