4 Stylish Ways to Recycle a Broken Belt

A few months ago a tragedy struck in my closet. My favorite gold chain link belt died. I’m certain a lot of you have suffered this type of tragic loss at some point but I found myself torn because I didn’t know what to do with a broken belt. Throwing it away was everyone’s first reaction when I asked for opinions on my Instagram account 😂 but for the sake of the planet and this blog I found 4 stylish ways to recycle a broken belt.

Broken belt

1. A bracelet

Wrapped around my wrist and tucked the excess in the back

2. A Headband

I tucked excess into a ponytail

3. A Clutch strap

Clipped broken end to claps and tucked inside the clutch flap

4. A Necklace

Tied broken ends together behind my neck.
